April:
- 16th, 19th, 23rd: Tutor Training Workshop - takes place at Kesher Israel from 6 to 9 p.m. All three sessions should be attended if possible. Topics covered include Tutor Techniques and Methods, Characteristics of an Effective Tutor, and Tutoring Activities.
June:
- 1st: "Help VEP Bloom" - Fundraising Breakfast from 8 to 9:15 a.m. hosted at the Desmond Hotel. Always a great event! Enjoy a delicious breakfast, learn more about VEP, and support us in helping our students succeed.
- 1st: Gallery Walk - Please visit the Volunteer English Program table in front of Fulton Bank's downtown West Chester branch, 118 W. Market Street during West Chester's popular Gallery Walk from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Talk to current VEP tutors and board members, hear how satisfying and personally rewarding it can be to work with someone one-on-one and discover the difference you can make in that person's life. Your life may be enriched as well! Stop by and chat, we'd love to meet you.
