Cynthia is originally from China and has lived in the U.S. for 7 years.  Her family still resides in China.  When she arrived at VEP a year ago, she had concerns about her English speaking skills.  She had ambitious goals and wanted to learn about the U.S. business environment.  She landed a student job at a WCU computer help desk.  This spring, she graduated with a B.S. from WCU.  To balance her work activities she paints, plays tennis, dances, and exercises.

Currently, Cynthia is focusing on landing a full-time job where she can apply her many skills.  Already, she has been invited for a few job interviews.  Both VEP and Barry (her tutor) are wishing Cynthia great success as she moves forward with the next segment of her life in the U.S. Jin Hua and Pat Ciarrocchi of CBS 3 TV
