Students and tutors feasted on the international pot luck lunch at the 2012 Tutor/Student reception. Our students come from over 40 countries including Colombia, Sri Lanka, Mexico, China, Chile, Poland, Venezuela, Guinea, Korea, Ethiopia, Iraq, and Iran.
Conversation Group Opportunities
1. West Chester Library, 415 N. Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380. Note expanded schedule! This group is for STUDENTS AND TUTORS (alone or together) and meets once or twice a month from 6:30 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. 2013 dates: 2/27, 3/13, 3/27, 4/10, 4/24, 5/8, 5/22, 6/12, 6/26, 7/10, 8/28, 9/11, 9/25, 10/9, 10/23, 11/13, 11/27, 12/1.
2. Tredyffrin Library, 582 Upper Gulph Rd., Strafford-Wayne, PA 19087. Call Betty Ann at 610-688-7092 for more information. This group is for STUDENTS and meets every Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
3. Downingtown Area Conversation Group, Central Presbyterian Church, 100 West Uwchlan Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. This group is for STUDENTS AND TUTORS and meets on Friday mornings from 10:30 to 12:00 noon. Please call first to facilitator Jo Zmich at 610-380-1509.
4. OIC Conversation Group at the Chester County Library in Exton. Usually meets the 1st and last Wednesdays of the month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Call facilitator Bel Broadley at 610-269-5812 for more information. (This group does not meet in August.)
